It is a dry white wine that grows almost only in Austria. It has fruity flavors of lime, green pepper and grapefruit making it the most exotic substitute of Sauvignon Blanc. The name of this dazzling white wine is translated as the “Green Wine of Veltlin”. Veltlin was an area located in the lower part of the Alps during the 1600’s, which now is a part of Valtellina, Italy.
